“you are beautiful and so is your new album! your voice is angelic! congratulations”
— J. Gargano
Hey Gina, thanks for sharing this track and congrats on your release! Nice vocal tone, very unique. I like the minimal vocal/string arrangement in the intro, very introspective and intimate. The storytelling in the lyrics is really clear and well done. The change up in the chorus was really dynamic and I think there are some excellent harmonies and emotion in the vocal. This song really had in impact on me, I could feel the emotion coming through to the point that I teared up. It's really beautiful and the type of song I look for to be on melancholy day. Best of luck! — Melancholy Day

”Thanks for sharing your song, “Imagine,” with us, I think the melody in the chorus here is incredible and I think it's a great fit for us. Really enjoy the slight dissonance in the strings, and the lyrics really match the page we run. Will post this over the coming week!”

“Thank you for being vulnerable and opening your heart! That’s why you’re so relatable and probably why I, along with so many others, feel a genuine connection with you! What a beautiful soul!
— M. Levin
About Gina
I was “Gina Kaz” before I became a mom. I toured in London, CA, NYC, Philly, etc. I made 2 indie albums, and landed some tunes on two high profile ABC shows. And this was all when I had to mail my CDs to venues and no social media really. I became friends with the post office crew.
Cue my almost fatal car accident at this point. As I healed from my brain injury, broken bones, and trauma, I continued to write music and made “For You” in Nashville, TN.
I eventually became a mom (another dream of mine) and started a local children’s music class in Philadelphia. I started using my songwriting thang to write my own kids’ songs, and eventually ended up making three albums (they won awards & stuff), two singable books, and built an incredible widespread community of families that I loved getting to love.
At the same time, I was also working with the dying, doing one-on-one Music Therapy visits, as well as group sessions. All of this was exactly as it should be. Then…alone at the piano, one afternoon, while all the kids and hubby were out of the house, “Gina Kaz” woke back up and out came new songs and a new vibrant piece of my life to embody. So, I made an album and made a beautiful thing with beautiful people. I feel like you get it. Thank you for listening. It’s all a part of me, my kids, the “music with gina” community, the dying, writing, creating music…….and I was always here.
